Throughout the development process, I apply models like ADDIE or SAM alongside Backward Design to guide the full instructional design process. I identify desired learning outcomes and align them to assessments and instructional strategies grounded in adult learning principles. Using a learner-focused approach, I work with SMEs to design, develop, and refine content to ensure it is practical, engaging, and directly applicable to each role.
As a Training Specialist, I interacted with the Saba/Cornerstone frequently. LMS skills include:
Uploading SCORM-compliant assets to content repository
Set up of courses, classes, packages, and certifications
Assigning of courses and/or certifications by role
Developing learning paths for various company roles
Editing and embedding in platform workspaces
Utilized course completion reports to communicate to nation-wide sales leaders
All custom-built courses that I developed were added to a training folder for easy access.
A team landing page was designed, developed, and embedded into a workspace within the LMS, delivering a customized experience.
Across several career paths, I have experience with live facilitation, whether in-person or over various virtual platforms. This includes 1:1 training, small group trainings, leading small group webinars with SMEs, acting as "producer" for company-wide calls, or presenting projects to cross-functional and leadership teams.
Other skills include:
Developing customer-facing multimedia (slides, videos, signage, etc.)
Coordinating events
Organizing content in SharePoint by developing SharePoint Sites
